Terms and Conditions for SoftFlow Solutions' Portfolio Building Platform

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the portfolio building platform ("Platform") provided by SoftFlow Solutions ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

1. Overview

SoftFlow Solutions offers a digital portfolio and CV-building platform for students, colleges, and recruiters. The Platform allows students to create portfolios, showcase academic projects, and generate CVs. Colleges can manage student portfolios, and recruiters can search for candidates based on their portfolios.

2. User Eligibility

  • Students: You must be a current student or graduate of a recognized educational institution to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are eligible to use the services provided.
  • Colleges: Colleges, universities, or educational institutions may sign up for an account to manage student portfolios.
  • Recruiters: Recruiters and hiring managers may access the platform with the permission of the associated college or institution.

3. Account Registration

To use the Platform, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process. You agree to keep your login credentials confidential and to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Use of Platform

  • For Students: You may use the Platform to create and maintain your digital portfolio, which can include personal, academic, and project-related information. You may also generate and update your CVs.
  • For Colleges: Colleges can create and manage student accounts, track student progress, and monitor portfolio submissions. Colleges have the ability to customize the platform with their branding and may require students to regularly update their portfolios.
  • For Recruiters: Recruiters may search for student profiles based on skills, projects, and other relevant criteria. Recruiters may view student portfolios with prior permission from the respective college or institution.

5. User Content

You, as a student, retain ownership of the content you create and upload to the Platform. By submitting content to the Platform, you grant SoftFlow Solutions a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of providing the Platform’s services.

Public Display: Any content you upload to your portfolio is publicly visible to anyone who has access to the portfolio link, unless you opt to limit sharing.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, store, and use your personal and academic information. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. All personal information shared with recruiters or hiring managers will be done with prior approval from the relevant college or institution.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including but not limited to:

  • Uploading content that is false, misleading, or violates the rights of others.
  • Using the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm others.
  • Engaging in unauthorized access or tampering with the security features of the Platform.
  • Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international laws.

8. Fees and Payments

SoftFlow Solutions may offer certain paid features or subscriptions. Any applicable fees will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase. You agree to pay all fees associated with the services you select. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

9. Termination of Account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. If your account is terminated, your access to the Platform will be revoked, and you may lose access to your content.

Student Accounts: If you wish to delete your account, you may request account deletion at any time. Your content will be permanently removed from the Platform.

College Accounts: Colleges may request the deletion of student accounts or content at any time. We may retain some data for archival purposes unless requested otherwise.

10. Changes to the Platform

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Platform or any part of it at any time, without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Effective Date". It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates.

11. Limitation of Liability

SoftFlow Solutions will not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, including any interruption of service, unauthorized access to your account, or loss of data. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoftFlow Solutions and its employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maharashtra,India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in Solapur, unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
